Honda tank badge removal

    Anyone had any success removing the tank badges in such a way that they can be re-used after a respray?

    I was thinking sticky stuff remover and a bit of heat. Don't want to risk breaking them though.

    I got some dental floss behind them and applied heat! With a little work came off with no problems!

    Warm up first with hairdryer and as Womble said use fishing line! If you can get someone to keep heat on while doing it all the better

    Oh if you haven't got fishing line, dental floss works too
