    Hi,

I've noticed that after every ride my brake discs are fairly hot.
Not so hot I can't touch them and they seem all evenly temperatured.

Is this normal for fireblades or are all the pads binding? (14 plate 4000miles)

It can be normal as the pads may still catch as vibration pushes the caliper pistons in slightly between braking.

To be in the safe side it's worth raising the bike on stands to check how free the front wheel is when stood.

I had this on my track bike and found that I had one sticking piston. Soon sorted with a clean and regrease though.

I just waxed the chain today; and the wheel seemed to turn freely so I guess it's normal temp for them.
Thanks I can be a little bit paranoid at times!
