Hot right foot?

    On the last two ride outs I have noticed my right foot getting hot enough to notice, this was not the case on my rr5 so is it common on the newer blades? I ride on the balls of my foot?

    There's your problem mate. You need to use the footpegs.

    Yes, known "issue". Partially due to the cat. It improves a bit if you replace the stock can (including cat) with an aftermarket one.
    (P.S. US folk often also fit a manual fan switch which helps with heat from engine bay).

    First time out I thought my boot was melting, I even stopped to take a look lol

    Yes I have the same problem, not really noticed it once off and running but in slow traffic it can be really noticeable (ie the day we got snarled in traffic on the north circular on the way back from the Ace Cafe. Dealer told me it’s normal !
