Ok after a previous post the oil light comes on as part of the fi warning. How do i get it off? Is there a bypass available or a wire to cut to make the bike think it still has the exhaust valve connected? Cheers John
I asked similar question... apparently you can buy a Servo Replacement Module... see this thread here for a link: click
Can you explain what bike you have and what you've done? You may just need to rotate the pulley wheel. The oil light shouldn't be coming on if you've just done the exhaust flapper mod though?
Its an cbr1000rr7 race bike with full micron system and has several mods done. It has keyless ignition, not sure how its been done as i bought the bike as it is now. I have put the standard damper back on and plugged that in but it has no flapper bit on it for the exhaust and i am not sure about the lambda sensor.
OK sounds like the FI light is indeed due to the bike not sensing the "flapper" as the whole system has been removed - you need a ESRM (available on 1000RR.net) or to fit the servo motor back on to the bike. Unless the servo is still there, in which case you just need to rotate the pulley wheel back to original position. Lambda sensor can be connected to your new exhaust if it has a bung for it or you can fit an O2 sensor eliminator. Hope this helps, sorry if I've misunderstood anything. If you post the number of flashes for the MIL, someone will tell you what they mean. P.S. I don't think your oil light should be on though.
