Usually just create a new post and select upload a file and select pictures from wherever you store them (sometimes they do need to be resized) I think that's how I do it and often suprised when it works .
Click on the "Upload a File" button next to "Post Reply". If you need to resize and don't know how then you can just screenshot a photo and upload the screenshot instead.
