Amazed at how well my 07 blade is when it comes to fuel economy. I know i ride like a tasty cat, but i mean

From an 18L tank on my Aprillia Tuono that i had before the blade, i'd get 100 miles before fuel light came on and then about 125 and i'd be getting very nervous!

Blade with an 18L tank, today on a long trip to Wales through fast, slow, country, motorway got 195 miles and still had 1L left! Was getting nervous seeing as the light came on at 156 miles, but hey got there. Bloody marvelous bike this blade, wish i'd done it sooner.

Bike came with full Ti akra and PCIII with custom map, so i'm guessing that's helping a bit. When i had a CBR600RR and put a PCIII on (with downloaded map) it increased the fuel range a bit.

Happy i'm eaking the fuel out on the blade, got a scotland trip in the summer so 2000mile trip will be less painful on the petrol!

Light usually comes on at about 80-90 miles and I've always stopped at the next garage. My bike is going to Jack Frost soon to have it re-mapped as I'm not too happy with the current map on the bike and hopefully get a few more miles out of a tank.

wow must be riding fast to burn off that much fuel! Lights always come on mine at 150 - 160 miles. How much fuel does it take to fill yours up - that would confirm how much your burnin off.

Best to test on your own and work out how much fuel your putting in. Mine will go 40-50 miles after light has come on, but will be pretty close to fumes. Had 1 litre left in the tank, about 40 miles after light came on

On my new shape blade the light comes on then counts upto 3.0 litres, Iv been advised to fill up before it gets to 2.5 to be safe

I got 150 miles till the light came on from a nearly full tank. Half riding tidy, half giving it some

Not seen my light come on yet. Did 360 miles in wales between Sun and Monday and as I went with the brother in law in our kit car I just filled up when he did about 130 miles in.

My light normally come on under 100 miles.
You don't have to ride particularly fast to use fuel though. A lot of acceleration and high revs drinks it pretty quick too.

I get about 120 before the light and 150 miles and it's on fumes

When the 0.0gallon light flashes how much can you use before it's empty?

Most I've dared is 0.6 gallon on reserve light and it took over 17litres to fill so must be near empty

I don't gamble with it myself but I've seen someone say they had it up to 1.1.

Honda dealer told me ( when i bought the bike last month )

It will count up to 3.0 litres then your dry

He told me people have been telling him that they have run out on 2.6 - 2.8 so i should fill up before 2.2 - 2.5

with PCV now fitted i got 123 miles before light came on so its about the same as stock

took 13.5l to fill so light must come on with 1 gallon left.
