How long to download Images/video.

    I spent 2 hours watching 1 photo trying to download onto the site, does it normally take so long?

    Go to Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test and click begin..

    This will tell you your downlaod speed and upload speed.. what are the results?

    It could be a slow internet connection, if it is not then it could be the site you are trying to downlaod the photo from..

    you could also try rebooting your router..

    that's reasonable..at work i get 2.69Mbs Download

    Must be the website thats running slow.

    Nothing happening. Checked that picture size is within limits, short of leaving it running all night I haven't a clue how to get round it.

    I have not used the forum Gallery for a while but never takes more than a few seconds normally

    I used Photobucket, free and easy to use

    i think what you mean is you are uploading pictures from your c drive to a website on the internet...like a image hosting site (photobucket)?

    if this is so..this can be very slow depending on the size of the pictures you are uploading.. your upload speed is slow..hos many photos you trying this with?

    but your original post says 1 pic..2 hours to upload from c drive...could your internet connection have dropped or timed out? did you reset the router and try again?
