I just noticed how many miles I did this year on the Blade. My MOT was in March and I'd only been out a couple of times before that. It's been a weird year for me with my little boy arriving 5 weeks early and then being made redundant, riding my bikes had to take a back seat. Total track days / races = 0 Total road miles = 147 I must get the lowest mileage on the forum? One ride out next year should beat that total!! I know some brave souls are still clocking up the miles but what sort of mileage have you done?
Iv done a but better but still a poor figure 3000 mikes on the blade but I bought it in April and done about 2000 miles on my 600 Hopefully I will double those numbers next year
Done bloody loads this year! Although nearly killed me commuting on the bike and working miles from home... Was doing 160 miles a day plus 8am to 6.30pm hours min so racked up about 35k on the old bm (the bike sadly didn't see the year out and killed over in November - had 80k on the clock) Bought the blade in march and put about 1k on r6 till then, and done 8.5k on the blade what with Sunday blasts and two trips away. So grand total of about 44.5k this year!! I won't be doing that again though that's for sure...
2500k on Gsxr600 650 miles on ER6-N and 298 miles on Blade. I have no other bike now so next year Blade will have all the mileage.
I managed 1300 miles on the R1 before I sold it, then I have done 2352 miles on the blade this year 100 - 150 ish or so @ cadwell Park, I think as the clocks fuse kept on blowing and it did not record some of it and 40-50 ish on the dyno I think, I was to excited to be getting it mapped to check the milage Hope to do a lot more next year, especially now I have the e comfort seat fitted lol
quite a mixed year for me, did around 400 miles on the blade and maybe another 250 on my gsx 14, normally i would be doing 2500+ but with a crap summer and working offshore and abroad my mileage speaks for itself really
Work took it's toll this year, also the Missus has had a bad year with her illness so the riding has been well down. I managed about 2K on the Ducati before I sold her and have only managed 1 K on my Blade since getting her in late September. Next year I am hoping to get at least 5 K done, the Blade only has 4 K on the clock and needs riding.
I have done aprox 18000 miles this year. 10000 on my rr5. only owned it since end of june and been laid up for 5 weeks lol.
well i will take the crown for the least miles this year, a grand total of 58 miles, it was a bad year, 6 months off work, 6 months on chemo, roll on 2012.
started off really well may was great about 600 miles then things fell apart,girlfriends parents moved over from lancashire so 6 weekends solid guttjng and decorating thier new bungalow and work commitments an shite weather meant that was it for me! stroll on spring
Yeah I did most of my miles on the gsxf as it was my commuter the last 2-3 maybe even 4 summers have been appalling
3700 on me Busa 2000 on the blade Was laid up for 6wks though in summer with broken bones, so no riding then
