Just after a bit of advice regarding fuel tank removal. I know it hinges up - I get that far, but I'm worried that by removing the fuel hose it'll spill petrol all over the place? I don't have a hose clamp but will buy one if I need to.

It was never a problem on my previous bike as it had carbs and a fuel tap so could turn that off!

    Bike is a 2012 blade

    Thanks in advance

    Sam

No need for a hose clamp mate. They don't leak once disconnected.

Thanks Colin. So I literally disconnect the hose at the tank connection and all should be ok?

Had my tank off my 2012 couple of times there is a rubber grommet pull it from top to bottom then squeeze tabs . The rubber is just to stop the tabs being accidentally pushed in still a bit of a bugger to get off a screwdriver helps
