Just bought this from eBay, cant believe how hard it was to find one, have noticed that my undertray will need to be changed or removed as this would not fit on. Have an 09 blade with standard undertray. Have searched the threads but cant find anyone else that has fitted one. Easy job?
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it's quite a big job rear end off to get into the lower two screws I think their are 4 or 5 in total it's a ball ache lol
I think you can undo the screw under the fuse box, then you might be able to get into the lower two screws without taking the whole back end off, either way its a fiddle mate! worth it when its on though
Mate why does your bike not have 1 already ? Didn't ask about this panel before and the reason you don't have 1 is that your bike has ABS ?? If that is the case then this panel will not fit
when you say you have a "standard" undertray, do you mean you already have a piece the same as this but in a different colour, or, does it not have a piece like this at all? Is your bike the C-ABS version? If it is, then this will not fit.
Thanks for letting me know about that, I do have an ABS version. Will get a refund... hopefully. Shame really like the look of it on a Blade. Is there not an ABS version at all and if so where do you find them, even the Honda website accessories section doesn't show them. Thanks again fellas
Thought so mate No the ABS has a deeper under tray to house components for the system It's a Shame as I agree it looks loads better All you could do is try and replicate the look with a sheets of the right colour vinyl and a HRC sticker
I agree Dan, I love the way my bike looks with the only exception being the ugly abs box which completely spoils the look of the rear.
Well I hope you don’t all end up looking up admiringly at your non abs rear ends whilst sitting on your own tattered rear ends

Less to go wrong and I trust my own judgement when it comes to braking, I've been ok so far so no worries on not having ABS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sorry to go back to the topic, but yes those panels are fairly easy to fit (although drilling small holes in the battery box makes it really easy). I think people are getting confused with removing the passengers pegs.
