hrc quick action throttle

    has anyone fitted a hrc throttle to their 08+ blade. one question can the standard cables be left in place or do you have to change the everything.

    I have been looking at these and seen kits with and with out cables. The only advice i can give is to email a seller maybe ?

    already bought hrc throttle and clutch cable, just looking for a shortcut. might ask padgetts they should know.

    You can use the standard cables, but getting enough play to fit it is tricky. Check on the 1000RR.net forum for more info.

    Lots of folk are fitting a Yam R6 assy - same action but reported as being £80 cheaper, I'll be looking into this one...

    i have seen this but wouldnt fancy a stuck throttle at 100mph+ if you get it wrong.

    Yes all the Americans seem to do this mod. Be aware that you'll need to do some bodging to get it to work.
    Total false economy AFAIC. Right up there with Chinese levers!

    I have the HRC throttle fitted + cables. I paid someone with small hands to fit them Its a PITA job my mechanic told me.

    There are some cheap HRC kits on eBay at the moment as well.

    Worthy mod if you track your bike.
