Who's got these type of rear brake reservoirs fitted? Can you share some pictures please? I've got this fitted at the moment which was on it when I bought the bike recently. It seems redicolously long to me. I was looking at making it shorter but the direction it comes out of the master cylinder would mean it will be pointing forwards rather than upwards. Interested to see what/how others are.
The usual thing is to cut them short, although mine is an RR6 where the pipe is pretty much vertical.
They defo look a lot better shorter. The problem is the angle they come out of the MC. @Dave dunlop Is yours just resting on the frame there? Does it stay it that position?
Yeh just straight on the frame with a tiny blob of silicon behind to hold it I place otherwise it tries disappearing behind the subframe. The answer is the 90 degree one that Si has...
Depends where you buy it from:- https://www.carpimoto.it/en-GB/Brak...Brake-Master-Cylinder-13mm-with-Reservoir.htm I had to remake the footrest as hole spacing is different.
That's super cheap!! ... Do you know what size bore and stroke the OE unit is? I quite fancy going down the thumb brake route...
