Sooo .. Anybody got the one x?

    Anybody waiting for the SGS3??

    Reasons?

I've been an HTC man for a few years now, have always rooted and flashed custom roms, but the road they have gone down with sealed cases, no changable batteries and no MicroSD cards has put me off!

I'm seriously considering Samsung, altho i have recently got my hands on a samsung galaxy tab for very little money and kies is the most hateful piece of software i've used for years!

    Any other phones worth considering??

PS avid apple hater so please NO!

A Good mate has the same as me, the Htc desire and has upgraded to the One S and loves it. The sgs 3 looks bloody good also. Ill be n this situation very soon and all I can suggest is to look at the reviews. Prices and what you want

I had the desire up until feb, when i got a deal on a sensation i couldn't turn down (second hand not contract)

Currently running the Android Revolution HD ROM on my sensation which is ICS and it's superb! I'd love to go with the One X but my bugbear is that it has no interchangable battery, ever since i had nokias (many years ago) i always had a second battery and a desk charger!!

Gonna wait and see what the SGS3 brings!! One X Contracts have fallen already and you can get 300/3000/500 for £36 a month on a 12 month contract with no upfront!

I have the galaxy s2 and cant fault it so on this basis the s3 will be an amazing phone
but with the quad core i think battery life will suffer

Battery liife is reported as better than the S2,

I know the One X battery life is better than the Stock Sensation and the SGS3 has a better life than the One X

Not sure how the SGS3 manages the CPU, but the one X actually has a 5 cores in it's CPU, 4 1.5GHz and one half core for most tasks, only using the quad core when it's actually required

I thought you had to use it to do the firmware/software upgrades on your phone?

I bought an old Samsung Galaxy Tab for trowing in my offshore bag and it needed a firmware update ... Kies took forever to do what HTC does as your walking down the road!

Does anyone use three in the south west? I bought a pay as you go with them to test the signal before I sign a 24 month contract and have mixed feelings so far. The 3g is top class but phone signal has big holes. Any thoughts from local users?

I use 3 and to be honest they are the best I've used so far, can get signal in places that I couldn't on o2 and vodaphone.
