Since switching to a 55 rear on my RR-7 I now have very little clearance between the tyre and hugger making it very difficult to fit tyre warmers. Ideally I'd like a hugger that offers better clearance but I'm not fussed on anything carbon. I don't suppose anyone makes an ABS aftermarket hugger that looks OE but sits slightly higher?
I just put longer bolts and washers under the huger to raise it the required number of mm. And it looks fine.
Thats what i did, 6 washers on each side but its still eaten up my hugger. At least its got the correct clearance now
