Why would you pay list price for a second hand bike? - presume you would be second owner? I bet there are deals to be had on new ones if you shop around - plenty of unsold ones in dealers. I think my local dealer still has their 2.
My local dealer still has stock, when I was looking for new bike , I said can I try it out but rather than get it down off the display he said just try a new fire blade , it's the same. Great sales effort... So I walked out and the rest is history
Zero miles ,never been run ,owned by the shop owner which is obvious ,just a cheap shop ploy nothing more . Looking at the magazine reports the SP seems to be at the top of its game . I don't really think much is wrong and maybe the guys that are changing have that bit of extra cash and don't mind swopping bikes more often than most as a few grand to trade " again" doesn't have any effect to finances .
Not sure how much better the SP is over the standard bike but its a hefty premium. Considering you can get very good deals on the standard blade, I guess to move them through the dealers, at some point somebody will be discounting the SP though I have no idea how much margin the dealer has to play with and/or of they get additional margin if they take it for demo which would appear what Hunt's have done with this otherwise they'd not have registered it.
