Anyone had dealings with these guys ?
I'm maybe buying a bike from them. But its not going quite how I would have liked.

I bought my Sp from them 2 years ago, gave me a very good trade in price on my outgoing blade too. I know Scott from his day's as a Yamaha dealer 20 years ago and I have only had positive dealings with John the owner. I know some have had issues but I guess you just have to have your own experience and judge for yourself. On the whole I've only had positive outcomes on both sales and service so far and my first dealings with Hunts were in 2003 when I bought a new Cbr 600rr.;)

In what way are things not going right for you?

There was some discrepancy in the pics on the site. Turns out they are old pics from when they sold the bike last time.
The milage in the add is 12k .. mot details say 4k
The add says asv levers... the original pics say asv levers. The new pics have some crappy ebay levers on it.
There's enough to put me off the sale

Just my 2p; if there’s mileage discrepancies I’d walk away, no matter who the dealer is. Doesn’t seem to add up. I’d walk.

I bought new from Hunts. No problems, but let's face it, unboxing a Fireblade and taking your money isn't going to throw up too many issues is it. Like Paulo, I've also heard a few stories. There have been plenty of folk on this forum telling horror stories including one customer taking them to court.

Its like trying to get blood out of a stone.
Just spoke to hunts .bike had a clock change under warranty.
    Hence the discrepancy

For me, personally, I’d still avoid. As a buyer that would devalue the bike for me. Unless it was a grand track slag.

Getting a refund on my deposit..
    Not impressed tbh.
From what I can make out. He advertised the bike as it was last time he sold it. The owner has changed/swapped things. Therefore his advertised a bike but not as it is..

Yep I'm not sure I'd of gone through with the sale either based on what you have said. 'Clocks changed' always gets the alarm bells ringing.

Sometimes you'll come across a bike that you'll really really want, if its a minter and you like it you'll buy it regardless of the negative experience you might have with a particular dealer. Just because a dealers an arse, the bike could be perfect........Sometimes though its just not meant to be :(

    2. Bought four bikes off them in the last 7 years. Always had a good service and a fair trade in price. Maybe I’ve just been lucky

Buying the blade off them as well.

Just read all that.. I've bought from elsewhere .
Hopefully covid doesn't fuck it up for me.
Having said that ..I probably shouldn't rude for a month and won't be able to sell the blade on.
    Need a bigger garage ..
