Hydro dipping

    hi all , I am thinking of getting a few bits done in carbon and was just wondering if anybody has had this done and what it was lasting etc .

    I've done a few wraps on some of the plastics. Nothing too big, just infills, chain guard and rear hugger. They've been on a couple of years now.

    thanks they look good , was it hard to do with the wrap ?

    Using the 3M stuff made it easier as I'd bought some vinyl before that wasn't very good as you need it to stretch.
    The parts in the first photo were only the 2nd time I had tried it. You need a hairdryer to warm the parts & the vinyl and a very shape knife. The rest is just having the patience to keep working the bubbles out, which is why it all needs to be warm so you can keep relaying the vinyl if you get a bubble.
