Hi guys I received and invitation to A party with the Hobbs! Dennis Hobbs won Ducati's Trioptions Championship on Sunday at Silverstone BSB round! Den and his wife Gemma (who arranged our tour of Scotland Knockhill parade laps) has invited me and my better half to the big victory celebrations on the 8 Nov at the Queenferry Hotel! I just feel so privileged and honoured to be part of their celebrations! I know Niall MacKenzie and probably John and Becky McPint will be there I've heard they don't just work hard they party hard too I can't wait! Rubbing shoulders with such accomplished racers it will feel surreal but am sure after a few snifters it will be a blast!
Awesome! Enjoy fella. Enjoyed watching the 899 challenge this year and always good racing, he's bloody quick for a big lad too.... Had some great battles fair play to the dude.
This is his 2nd championship win Jimbo the last time was in 2000 but he broke his neck during testing in British Superbikes in 2004 in but was back racing at Macau over the next few years recently back in BSB so it been a long time coming! He is a big dude but he can certainly ride the wheels of that 899
