For those (like me) who's Blade did not come with the over priced Honda D-Lock, one of my local bike shops kindly allowed me to try before I bought.

The end result was a £7 lock that fits snugly in the under seat recess and also fits either through the front wheel or either wheel spokes and has plenty of room left over for a chain to go through, ideal if locking 2 bikes together or you may just get away with nudging your front wheel up against a post.

Still room left under the seat for a puncture repair kit, tool kit, visor cleaner & tussues ('cos you never know).

I'm now off to save for a new helmet as they now have a shop.

That's a great heads up for RR5-7 do you know anyone with a 2009-2011 bike you can try the lock in the seat and post a pic?

I don't, but that doesn't stop anyone from trying my lock under their seat.

I also forgot to mention, mine has the Averto alarm under the seat and there's still enough room for all the other bits in the pic..
