    Well, more specifically logs!! ;)

I ordered my usual lot in November and it usually lasts through the winter.

Due to all this crappy weather I ran out about 2 weeks ago.

As much as I like the log burner, I've had enough now

It's supposed to be British summer time FFS

same as that. i used to have a chainsaw ( go on then you lot that know me,,,) and find trees that looked as if they were going to fall over anyway'. some thieving scum robbed it along with lots of other stuff last year. burning columbian coal on the burner, gets nice n hot, burns to nowt and lasts me 4 nights for £8/25kg

I work for Western Power Distribution and we can't/ struggle to get rid of our old poles due to them having had creosote put on them about 40 years ago.
Quite a few of the lads at work have now got log burners with as much free wood as they want, none that i've asked have had any issues.

Avin a 14k multifuel burner for our central heating, it absolutely chomps through wood like crazy so we use anthracite throughout the day and night ticking it over with wood to top it up in the cold evenings, it's in 24/7 (hopefully not for much longer) and the house is toasty all the time, never wanted a burner but the other half had decided so that was that and I've got to admit it is real nice. Also havin a garden that backs on to Sherwood Forest and a chainsaw helps :)

I can use coal too as its a multi-fuel stove. Gets a bit expensive buying coal all the time though, the logs works out much cheaper.

Can always take the doors off the hinges and chuck them on the fire if times get hard, heard open plan living is the rage now!
