Not for long journeys but this is purely for fun no more commuting for me Might even get the odd track day in... Before the gearbox blows up .. If the engine holds out that long lol
Looks a cracking colour and can't blame you - the level of tech is awesome I've had a few shots on these and after my R1 I always get off them feeling a bit 'under whelmed' by the engine - its just incredibly refined / linear (bit like the blade really) where the R1 feels far rougher / almost brutal. That said the Mk2 I rode round Keilder was lovely , and got off thinking 'I could do some serious miles on one of these' - then the next MK2 I tried had bar risers and lowered pegs and felt like riding a naked, totally different and again a real touring weapon - amazing what difference a few hundred quid on some adjustments can make to a bike (to the point of tempted to try alternate bars etc. on the R1!)
Ha ha - he was considering an 848 Ffs! Crazy fool.... Nice bike Jamie, guess you burn the slippers again lol hope you gel with this one (for now). Let the modding commence
