Going with Di to look at wraps/decals tomorrow for her sp.
I thought I might go down this route for the black one instead of the Chinese fairings.
So...anyone any ideas of what might look good on the black?
I only want it to break up the total black so the squirls and buff marks aren't in my view anymore  cheers

Yeah I know but only when it's just polished...the minute it goes out it turns into crap collecting magnet and the black paint is horrendous for marking..the ocd lot would have a fit if they saw it close up. I'm sick of cleaning it :(

If you were to seal it after cleaning you wouldn’t have that problem mate.
Do a proper decontamination/correction then seal it and you will only have to rinse it down Or a quick wash

I've got to agree with them Loz.
If it were my money then I would cover at risk areas with Venture Shield and take the bike to a professional detailer to have the rest sealed with a ceramic coating. About as cheap as a wrap, but keeps the original look.

The problem is its already got small scratches, swirls and dull buffed bits :(
If I hadn't spent as much as I have on it I'd sell the bloody thing and get another Repsol

Swirls and dull bits can always be got out with the right products and the right machine polisher. Just not a DA, not harsh enough, need a proper rotary. But take it to someone who knows what they are doing or you'll burn through the paint.

Why not take the bike to a professional spray company and let them polish out some of the swirls, have the wheels sprayed another colour (gold) and then ventureshield the tank and fairings etc

I quite like the sort of winter test look which just takes a few decals. Something like the below which I have brilliantly edited.

Yes that's the sort of thing that would do...break up the solid black so the focus isn't on marks that stand out! Thanks for that :)

Get the paintwork sorted with a good detail as others have suggested and then Decal wise. .......I'd go all white such as a belly pan set or a Honda decal. What a Tucker suggested looks great. I would steer clear of a wrap though. It'll probably cost you more than a set of decent Chinese fairings, which are also resaleable. A wraps going straight in the bin when you're fed up with it!!

I'm more intrigued about the Rim Decal than a dick lock! Not sure how it will stick if you have a hairy arse!
