    Thats easy:

I had a 1978 as above, it was the same colour and immaculate, I was its second owner. It would bring back so many memories of when life was so much simpler. I loved that bike and wish I had never sold it.

I think it would have to be one of last years Yamaha or Honda Factory GP bikes for an ULTIMATE track bike

but I think for a road bike it would have to be a Ducati Desmosedici rr

Just for the rarity of it and the beauty of the concept at the time.

I do concur with David on this one. In the day, I used to ride out with a few guys that possessed these beautiful little bikes and despite my 550 being able to blow them away I would still lust after them as I went by. I don't ever remember one that sounded rough, compounded by the crappy automatic cam chain tensioner on mine always making it sound like a bag of nails.

I would be hard pushed to come up with a modern bike I would covet enough to chuck my Blade out of bed over but when I was leering over 400/4s, the one bike that would always distract me was this one.

Otherwise it would probably be the Desmosedici plus a tame, live in Arthur to pamper it for me.
