Just got me thinking what can we possibly have ( if Rob can do it) that will improve the forum? I'm thinking a link by the "forum, media, Experience Whats new and Arcade" on the main page to include: The members map link so we can just click to add or see the members map. Also A link to Our Forum merchandise. Maybe a Front page that members can include upto date info on Honda or racing etc... thoughts and suggestions?
Maybe a live/real time shout box on the home page so we can just voice random shouts or useless bits of info or have like a multi member convo with out having to do it through a post or thread.
I'm not sure how easy it'd be to implement but I'd prefer to see the forum only readable to registered users.
Ok this is a lively place but seen this used on other forums and after a short time they don't get used but a great idea.
the biggest problem is that this will limit members as they cannot see how active or interesting the posts from people are
Someone the other day asked if about putting 'thanked' notifications on, I think that was a really good Idea as sometimes you don't know who it's from and what it's for without searching all old posts, I still don't know what some of mine are for. Could it come up as the likes do?
think of the children, We don't have a huge amount of rules but the unwritten ones that we have been following quiet well is to try and not curse too much and no naked boobs, fannys etc.... covered, bikini no probs. We have ladies members here to and maybe some young'uns But I know what you mean
threads and members pages, limited for non members? If they want the benefit from the site, they should sign up to access full site?
