Well firstly - I finally picked up my new blade at the weekend. I had just come back from Scotland on hols last Saturday, knackered, but keen to pick up me new bike. If you have read my previous threads, you'll know I've only recently returned to biking after 21 years. I bought a Street TripleR to ease myself in earlier this year before buying the blade. So I gingerly drove the bike from the dealer home & took it steady. I decided to go out the next day for a little ride which takes in a nice gentle A road & 'kin hell i was overtaken by a Citroen. Thank f*** it wasn't a 2CV I shall probably be known the slowest blade rider. I'am sure I'll get used to the power; but better to be safe I guess.
Nice bike mate Best way to stay the right way up is to not be pressured into riding outside your comfort zone, your doing the right thing bud and don't worry you will get used to it Well I say that but mine still scares the shite out of me after 4 years lol
Nah, I might compete with you for the slowest mate. But then, I have only been biking 5 years. Lovely bike, and like Mart says, go at your own pace.
Never worry what over takes you on your bike cos you will do 1000+ times that when you get confident with it.Nice bike BTW.
As and when you do ever break the speed limit ... NEVER POST IT HERE !! I was severely chastised for my misdermeaners !!
