    I apprehended the Snap on man today after spotting him loitering in a garage forecourt while on my way to the gym...
    Stepped on board as you do with the sensations of a child stepping into Santas grotto, (and i don't mean with fear of getting groped), and there she was !!
    Love at first sight... Like she was sent to me from the gods !!

    She's a limited edition, 50th anniversary of Snap on UK, 1 of 400 ! Mine for £2k plus vat...:eek:

    I wish i could have got a pic of it with the lid open as it was gorgeous, but the guy obviously sensed that it was all getting a bit warm in there and only gave me a glance before locking it down and evacuating !

    Had to console myself with this little sweetie, until i can't bare the thought of her falling into an others hands any longer

    The Missus reaction was a half patronising:
    "yeah, one day babe"....

    My head was saying:
    "yeah, if i didn't have to support your big ol' ass, run two cars, a house, bills, house keeping, a huge amount alone in kitchen and loo roll (feck knows why they get through so much), dog, wild birds and squirrels etc, That would be in the living room right now" !!!

    Never mind... One day :rolleyes:

    Yes mate ! Picked up a new 3/8 ratchet and some extensions too !
    I can't help walking away from them vans without day dreaming of hijackings :cool:

    Its a lovely bit of kit and i now realise why i was snapping bolts throughout my build !
    I tested the new, calibrated snap on against my old shitter.
    The old torque wrench said 17nm, (which was the torque on most of the bolts i snapped), the Snap on said 32nm ! Strange why they snapped :rolleyes: ffs ! The old one will now be stood down from its duties tomorrow and will be lucky if it even makes the grade as a breaker bar ! :mad:
