Gone with MCE this year and for the first time ever i have listed all of the bikes mods onto my policy, the poor bloke on the end of the phone said it was 1 of the longest mod lists he had ever put onto a policy before , but that also shows how many other people dont list there mods at all, it came all in at £291 tpft which i am very happy with as i am still only 24, i can now for the first time in 7 years of ridding say i am totally legal . . . . if i put the baffle back in the yoshi that is just noticed my signature is well out of date aswell lol
MCE ... robbin b%stards - wait til' you want to do a mid policy change - £40 odd quid for typing less than this post! That said well done for coming clean about your mods - it may catch on?!!?
Hope you don't have to cancel the policy when I bought my new bike they wanted £1000 to insure I got it for £580 so cancelled the policy .They refund terms are up to 3 months and I am still waiting for £175 after 6 weeks.
Well just gone on go compare and the average quote is £600.00 raising to £1000.00 This is for the new 750 ..9 years no claims ..Locked and alarmed garage ..no pillion ..clean license ..full time job ..am I missing the point here ? Most of the 20 insurers won't even quote all because I declared the can which is legal and doesn't produce any more bhp. Can't say I am over happy at the moment.
Have you tried Carol Nash? I got my blade (with a Yoshi can), 900SS and my 750F1 (which is worth a few quid) all insured for £400 fully comp.
No jamie, I didnt want to push my luck too much, who knows how much my premium would have gone up by telling them that
