As Latvia is part of the EU is their any vat, import duty or custom clearance charges when buying goods to a value of £200?

Cheers lads I thought that was the case.

The courier is DPD so not sure if they will have some custom clearance charge or other excuse to fleece me of cash.

Do not worry, you won't be charged at all.

Cheers all you have put my mind at rest.

Only thing I could possibly get hit with is a courier charge from DPD as in the past royal mail charged me for such when there was no import or vat to pay.
