Hi, I have a 1000RR from 2007 and the indicators don't seem to work, same with the hazards. I've checked the indicator relay, all the fuses but nothing seems to be broken. It's strange, whenever I lock the bike, the indicators flash as they normally would so there is power going to them. Any idea what could be causing it?
Classic indicator switch problem. It's an all in 1 unit on the bar that includes the hazard switch. You could try squirting contact cleaner in the switch and start working it, or you could take the connector off and try to clear the grease & grime. Failing that it's time for a new switch assembly. Fortunately from memory it's only held in by 2 screws.
