    Do you all lubricate your cables? The only time I've done this on road bikes is when the cables were pretty screwed and turned out to be frayed and needed replacing. I thought most cables were teflon lined or something like that and didn't need lubing.

    I've used GT85 on clutch cables. Did seem to free it up.

    If they are Teflon lined, there might be a case that the lining might have worn off on the older bikes, hence my noticing an improvement.;)

    Reckon I'll get one for those emergency fixes where they're sticking a bit. Used the plastic bag and gravity method in the past which is great until you screw it up and then it's really really messy :eek:
