Anyone know what the diff between Hastings Direct and Hastings Premier is? Are they the same company but different policies? Or what? My top 2 quotes at the moment are from them. About £20 diff between the two... Same excess, same 'features'... H
Be careful with Hastings as they don't tend to accept many mods, especially power commanders. I nearly got caught by that last year and I'm pretty sure someone else on here had the same earlier this year.
I had Hastings cover a few years back and when I put a personal plate on the bike they wanted £49 as an admin charge. Given that my insurance was about £130 at the time I argued the toss and they reduced it to £25, but I told them they'd never see me again.
Ah yeah... I discovered by reading the fine print that they would A. not accept ANY mods... B. Not payout if you didn't have the damn thing chained at ALL times... Now considering one called weirdly enough... Wicked Quotes... H
