Try Hastings Direct Sam, both my bikes with the 929 covered for business use for £407.

Appreciate insurance company's are all as bad as each other, but after the shocking service my mate had last year when he had a bad spill I wouldn't touch Bennett's

If you have an important claim to make then consider hiring a solicitor to protect yourself from your insurance company - they're all the same greedy bastards.

MCE for me this year but every year i have to shop around, Full no claims 48 years old been riding since they built the Ark, no claims or points, it is getting harder to get reasonable quotes, But it does depend on the area, your age, the bike and you history. if you have many newish bikes its likely to cost more as well etc.

The whole Insurance industry needs to re-assess itself. But instead they just keep raising the premium, however the claim culture is also blame, Lawyers wanting you to claim if you have broken a nail etc......

The usual comparison sites are up to speed on bike insurance now. Try GoCompare, Moneysupermarket and Comparethemarket.

tried hastings & MCE - i had an accident 4 years back and that bumps up the price..

Bennets is good - as it only looks at 3 yrs accidents..

i guess it would not make sence to go for Fire & Theft on a £5k Repsol!

Got mine down to £220 for my 1 year old 2012 blade, was through hr insurance, they were the best last year by a mile and they renewal quoted me £248 til I pointed out to them that they were the lowest on Asda compare and Tesco compare, gave them the reference number and they matched the price and added class 1 business use. I also have pillion isurance and cover to ride some elses bike 3 rd party.
52 yrs old, decent postcode, garaged, no claims points etc, 11 years NCD.
I'm happy with that as it has come down over the last 5 years, was on a 2009 GSXR1000 before

Who Insures you doesn't matter - till it matters

That is our company tag line and trust me it is the most truthful thing

All risks are different, I am looking to pay £470 this year for a multi bike policy but I have declared the mods on Blade to Ins. co just be on safe side

Most insurance companies make no money from the premium, its investment income that covers the losses experienced
