Interesting development regarding the removal of a driving licence

    I think to add to that, a crushing machine should be towed around, crush the car into a nice cube and tell them they have an hour to move it.

    Here! Here! and its about time too. Some of you may remember I posted last year about my mother having an accident with 3 parked cars. My bother and I tried every trick in the book to try and persuade her to call it a day and have met a stone wall of denial on her part. Ok, in her case its not her eyesight that lets her down, its just all her other faculties, including the one that should allow her to see reason when the two people that love her the most are acting in her own, and the interest of other road users. We even wrote to her doctor with our concerns but he passed her as fit to drive. She is a menace but unfortunately it’s only her and her doctor that don’t seem to see it. We await the next phone call beginning with the words “I have had a……” and pry it doesn’t involve anyone getting hurt.
