Yep the full 2 weeks for me. You'll love it and once you'e been you'll be going again.

I like practice week as it's not so busy but I also like race week cause it's race week, not much help.

none of the camp sites will mind you turning up in the early hours, not much peace and tranquility during TT!

Laxey is a great little site, sheltered from the weather, close to Douglas, handy for short ride up back road to the Creg, or up to Ramsey along coast road. Also, you can leave your bike and get the eleccy tram from Laxey up to The Bungalow and spectate there with some beers!

Good pubs, nice little Italian, chinese takeaway too

Laxey is very nice and La Mona Lisa well worth a visit, I try to every year. Think I've been to most of the pubs there as well oh and the Chinese.

Received email the other day from Steam Packet Company - please pay balance by end of February. Balance on ferry ticket now duly paid - game on.

Hotels have been a hassle though. Managed to get a couple of nights in a hotel in Douglas, before departure, so that I do not have to get up at ridiculous o'clock to make the 7.30 am ferry back to Liverpool.

Looking at trying to remember the corner and section names, before going. It will make it easier to understand what is going on when the corners are mentioned.

Maybe a new Arai in TT colours ! it would be cool to actually buy one at the TT - but they will probably have sold out by the time I get there at the end of practice week - definitely looking at that though ! :)

    Just paid my Ferry :)

TT Circuit Guide is good - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tt-Circuit-Guide-DVD/dp/B000067A7M

http://www.thevisorshop.com (Crossan) normally have the TT helmet - to pre-order and collect at the TT.

I'm going on 30th May to 4th June (Mad Sunday), will only see Sat races but practice sessions every night, and you can get some laps in without mountain being closed ;)
Went same time last year as well.

Thanks for the TT Guide recommendation - just in time for Christmas !

See what the 2017 Arai TT design looks like, and place an order.

Nice to have the tickets booked and paid for - just feels like it is actually happening now.
