I've got my old Iphone as above that I no longer use due to getting an Iphone 4. Now the phone has a fault with it, a while back I dropped it and broke the screen. I fitted a new screen but the earpiece no longer worked, so once I asked a call I had to put the phone onto speaker phone. I'm sure this could be mended by someone in the know so I'm asking £50 posted Oh forgot to mention it's officially unlocked to any network!
Mate Apple are exchanging 3g iPhones for refurbed 3Gs's for a £45.00 fee . Its to clear stock or something . 2 boys from work have done it now

No i don't deal with the phones at all mate . Totally different training and certifications as you gotta deal with the networks as well . . You may be able to do it via couriers that they provide thou . Apple are not advertising it the boys that have done it phoned up and said they're 3G was faulty and how much is it to exchanged for a replacement unit and was both told 45 . Its 140 to exchange a broken Iphone4 for a new unit ( well refurb in new casing ) so its a deal . You can sell it as a bran spanker then mate
Yeah if you own 1 you can pay to exchange it no matter what state it is in . i sold my dads 2 year old 3GS for him a few months back on ebay for 167 so a gleaming 1 has gotta get close to 200
Just sold a 16gb 3gs on the bay for £95 ( buy it now price ) which had the screen replaced twice and also would not pick up a signal anymore got to be worth going down the route that Dan has said, a little out lay for a big return
That's brilliant timing My 3GS has just stopped bloody ringing again and was just about to pay to get it fixed for the 3rd time by a repai chap and also my mrs has a 3G that's dog slow Oh and my iphone 4 has the crappest signal I've ever had on any phone so hopefully they'll fix that while I'm at it I take it I just ring any official Apple store directly or is it Apple uk or something I have to call Dan?
Aint had chance to day guys . Been opening and sorting 600 new iPads ready for tomorrows launch . been manic
Oops sorry mate I didn't realise it was the launch tomorrow, actually I thought the launch was last week for some reason. When you get some spare time mate, the old phones been sat around for ages anyway aweek or two more won't make any odds.
I tried ringing today and was told by Leicester Apple store that they didn't do any such offers for any trade in/ trade ups on iPhones (her words not mine) Maybe I should try a different store
Its not a trade in mate .. You gotta say its faulty !! they charge you for a full body replacement which is a refurb in new casing . there are no trade ins on new phones !
