    All,

I've been looking for a holder kit for the iphone 5 for a while now. Ultimate Add-ons have finally produced a kit, which I've just had delivery of. I think I recall some of you have the same kit for the 3G or 4 models.

For anyone interested, I got the waterproof holder, 20-24.5 mm yoke adaptor, and hardwire kit for charging it.

Not used it yet, but looks bloody good quality and at a decent price. Certainly far cheaper than a bike sat nav, that's for sure.

Yeah I got this as well I had bought the complete kit for my I phone 4 then got the i phone 5, and had to wait for the I phone 5 kit but I didn't need the full kit just the waterproof case and the adapter charger that plugged in to the hard wire charger for the I phone 4 I had.

Like you said a tidy set up and no need for a sat nav,I downloaded the nav free ap which is ok but not great ,I might get the Tom Tom app .

Tomtom for the iPhone is well worth it Jase. If your iPhone is jailbroke, you can get Tom-Tom for nowt via the inter web, apparently.

You're are better not buying the iPhone wiring kits and instead fitting a USB charger lead, especially if you already have an Optimate hard wire connection fitted.

I bought the USB lead off Andy at Tweek's for £22.50 and this then plugs straight in to ya Optimate flying lead.

The beauty of this setup is it's future proof, any gadget/phone manufacture will always supply a USB charger lead for their devices so you'll never need to upgrade, you just have the USB outlet mounted somewhere suitable near the clocks etc and then you can then plug in what ever you like.

I'll be using mine for charging a Tom Tom mounted in the headstock mostly but you can also charge camera's/phones etc if you have a Tankbag in which to store stuff whilst riding on Touring Hols etc.

Im really dubious about mounting stuff on my bike now as my camcorder flew off my ZX6R a few years back and smashed to pieces and yesterday my disc lock flew off its holder on the Blade and i have no idea where!!!

If you watch the Video Muffking you'll see how secure these new mountings are compared to stick-on suction type mountings.

Ok Ok, I finally bought one of the Iphone 5 Kits,
    But!
just sizing the ram mount up, and it seems to small! got the same one 20-24mm but it will only go in wonky.
You have to tighten it up so much that the 2 slpit sections are almost overlapping, can anyone help??

im considering placing some sort of sleeve in the hole (hose or similar) to make the bore smaller?
has anyone fitted this ultimate add ons kit to their blade and if so....any tips?

    Thanks in advance

Yep, I fitted the 20-24mm kit last week for my Sat Nav case.

The Yolk kit went in spot on, and straight leaving the adjustable ball sticking up ready for the adapter plate to go on.
