    Hi,

Does anyone know whether it's possible to switch off that irritating indicator beep? The one that tells you you've been indicating for more than 5 milliseconds.

When it happens I can sense the anger building from pedestrians walking by. It's ok when I'm with mates cos I turn and look at their bike pretending I too am wondering where the 'orrible noise is coming from. But when on my own its not so good.

Isn't that your alarm doing that, rather than the bike? My Acumen did it till I disabled it.

What indicator beep? Fireblade doesn't have one, unless it was introduced in 2012.

Different alarm manufacturer will have different steps, obv.

Top man! I had the bike from new, but with the alarm fitted. I assumed it was the bike doing it rather than the alarm.
It's embarrassing to say it, but I've put up with that bloody irritating noise for 4 years now. Wish I'd have mentioned it years ago. :(

What would possess an alarm manufacturer to think of doing that to the indicators beats me, but as long as I can turn it off I'm happy.

    Thanks again!! :)

Yeah, when I got my alarm fitted it annoyed the hell out of me all the way home - which unfortunately was 100 miles away! (long story)

First thing I did was hunt through the manual for that section!

Oh God no! The story they'll get is that I managed to re-wire the loom to override the Honda indicator warning system. :)
Managed to switch it off now. Silence at last!
The irony is I'll probably leave the indicator on and get knocked off at a junction.
