The company make an EXO variant for use on boats thats supposed to be pretty tough, even resisting salt water but I'm not certain whether resisting and repelling are the same thing.

Thanks guys...I'm going to make an alcantara gel seat for the blade, can't bear to part with £170+ for a Honda one, so I'll keep you all updated!

There's something very alcantara like on the old Ducati 749.If you do a good one I might give you a commission.

I used to have alcantara seats on the Blade and if it rained they would soak up water . But they would dry out fairly quickly
and didn't seem to be any the worse for wear

bit late on this .. My 206GTI had alcantara & leather seats . If my boy spilled juice on his seat it would soak up slowly but surly .

Are you thinking of getting yours covered or buying a alcantara seat already made .

Somebody on here has 1 already but i can't remember who it is .

I think trey are a sunny sunday only seat .

Yeah, that's a mugen alcantara seat. They are £500 just for the riders seat!

I'm going to copy it mate. Will cost less than £50.
£20 for a ripped s/h seat, £20 odd for an off cut of alcantara.
