The view from my windows at the moment look like a Discovery re-enactment of the Battle of the Somme so I was wondering if everybody else is okay after the latest week long predicted weather 'blip' has caught the UK completely by surprise, again.
I am fine but my local yorkshire trading's outside display has taken a bit of a battering you boys down south and on the west coast appear to have had the worst of it though
It's been a long time since I've seen the sea mud brown down here and the view across the estuary from my hous makes it look like beachfront property.
Get it on the market quick then before the flood water recedes so you can advertise it with a sea view
Lovely day today, not looking forward to tomorrow though. Much the same if not worse than yesterday apparently.
All good here this morning and we still have a roof which was looking doubtful during last nights storm. The wind and rain was so strong you literally couldn’t stand up in it. The sound of the wind was like a jet engine coming over miles of open fields before smacking into our cottage. Truly biblical, considering making a start on building an ark later.
All good here.... looks like Wales coped it again. If id have been braver last night i would have gone up to the light house and watched the sea from up there... I bet it was a bit ruff..
All ok here, the garage I built last week is still there.Last night my weimaraner was bricking it.She hates loud bangs and stormy weather.I put the bin out with her and walking back She came up the path still peeing so she can get in quicker. The Poor bitch.
was not good last night but we are ok in ourt house, top of hill Went to keynsham going to bath this morning to find one road flooded (major road there as well as the bypass. keynsham Park and surrounding areas flooded very bad More Keynsham flooding pictures after yet more torrential rain | Keynsham People
Beautiful day up here in Lincolnshire, was very windy last night but all intact Even managed a late November Blast today, most road were already dry and all the Salt has been washed away, heaven
All OK, here. Fingers crossed it never seems to matter how much it rains here. We get very localised flooding in country areas but nothing that seems to affect any of the houses. No idea why, really. If I had to guess I'd say it was down to the proximity to the river Tees which is pretty wide as it nears the coast and so never seems to have any problems sending all the water out to sea. It only tends to affect Yarm if they don't get the Tees barrage down quick enough.
All fine up here too. Must admit it was windy yesterday and a few showers but nothing like some parts of the country seemed to have. Been a cracking day here today but didn`t take the bike out , I fitted the trick bits instead and gave her a good clean
