    Hi all,

    Bike is a 2014 CBR1000RR with 42,000 miles

Im trying to figure out if this sound is normal for the blade's or if im getting paranoid and thinking its a header exhaust / valve issue any help would be appreciated :D

the sound is a tapping / rattling noise from the lower / bottom end of the engine.
Only occurs when at low rpm and becomes smoothed out at higher rpm's or barely audible due to the exhaust.
Link to the sound clip https://imgur.com/a/V535Dle

Maybe someone has dealt with a similar issue any input from someone more experienced would be highly appreciated, as all the other posts and clips appear to be due to the CCT but the sound doesn't match.

    cheers!

Sounds okay to me. Very difficult to tell anything wrong.

Amazing to see a bike like this at 42k miles!

Usually most of them are totaled before they get to this mileage.
should have seen my last gixxer an 03 still tearing up the local track with 80,000 miles on it.
wiring harness disintegrated on me before it needed any engine work lol.

Sounds ok to me! Since you mentioned the CCT .......it might be worth changing as this is usual cause of tapping.

Your belly pan appears to be full of oil too so you might want to check for leaks.
