Quick question, after recently fixing the fuel pump and being able to rev over 7000 RPM I rode the bike to work to store it over the bad weather, having never had/rode a sports bike before is it normal when accelerating hard for the front wheel to lift? I came from a set of lights and when in 2nd gear I had to back off as the thing was wheeling, I suspect this is normal but was wondering if some previous owner had the bike remapped or something? thanks in advance for any answers, Davey.

Yeah, they'll do that. Light-ish bike, powerful and relatively torquey motor... got to go careful with that right wrist!

F**k yes that is normal :D

Think anti-wheelie control in Moto-GP and WSBK.

That's why we buy them. Your ride is limited by your ability to stay in control.
    Please be careful now.

The other problem you get if you are not careful is the back wheel spinning whilst cornering and throwing you off, I would not go out in wet weather or roads until you have had plenty of practice
