Waaaaay too many people to mention here and entries not confrmed for months yet! Needless to say with all the major players on factory bikes, this is going to be a HUGE year for road racing. Over to you guys...
do you post everything road racing on this thread only? I usually follow the racing around our little island so expect tons of pics.
2013 Isle of man TT. Tips for spectator? Hi all I am a fairly new member from Australia. I booked my ticket to come over for the TT this year. Probably I once in a lifetime thing. Any tips for a first time spectator? I've also being looking at at hiring a bike to ride around the track on mad Sunday? Thanks Heath
Ive merged this with the TT thread. Anyway, dont bother with mad sunday, full of idiots thinking they are John McGuinness etc. Viewing... Union Mills, Waterworks, Ballaugh, Bray Hill, Cronk Y Voddy, Glen Helen, Ballacrye, Quarry Bends, Sulby, 11th milestone, Lambfell, Glentramen, Guthries, Stellamaris. Take your time, have a laugh around the place and most of all enjoy the racing.
Ferries booked for the NW200 this May! Taking advantage of a family member who's bought a house at the Magherabuoy chicane! Gonna be excellent to see Michael Dunlop on a top bike this year, 59 days from today - cant wait!!!!!
if you head out on sat hit the anchor bar in porstewart, thats where most the teams hang out after.cant believe I will miss this one
TT-2013 If you got Metzeler tires on your bike and book now ( see Link ) , you can stay in the Metzeler village free of charge for the entire stay. Reach the legend
TT Legend John Mcguinness has been honoured by having a corner on the Isle of Man course named after him.The corner ,just after Handleys is one he enjoys although he admits its not high on the spectators agenda given its remote location on the 37.73 mile mountain course ."it looks impossible to ride at any speed but its fabulous " said the Morecombe Missile ."I take it around 175 - 180 mph" Say no more !
Bottom of Barregarrow is my favourite place to watch as well. Always get a wee sandwich from the farm shop first too.
Appledene is great too, they are working hard, wrestling the big bikes through the 140/160mph esses, Alas, so many places are now closed off, used to love sitting on Ballig bridge, on the right, flying down over it then into the blind Dorans at 150ish. Awesome! Remember the '97 F1, Joey. McCallen & Rutter having a right ding dong in the 28deg heat.
A week on Tuesday we go. Can't wait. Only one call off so far. The lad with the Desmo. Obviously couldn't get his petrol tanker to follow him up the M1.
bet that hurt Conrad harrisons sidecar passenger going over ballaugh bridge bit of a hard landing that one

Looks like Guy Martin has been retained by Tyco Suzuki for the 2014 season .He needs to step up to the plate now and get the long awaited TT Senior win???
