Just fitted power commander, ignition module and quickshifter also O2 eliminater made a hell of a difference but talking to a dyno jet dealer in Gloucester and he said it's best to set it up on the dyno as the map from dyno jet will only be somewhere near and he could make it alot better
Is it worth spending an extra £250 to get it setup??

If it was me I'd see how it feels with a few dynojet maps and if your not happy with any of them for any reason go for the custom map.

I have had a DJ shifter on my blade for 4 years and never had a problem with it, i too have heard all kinds of negative reports about them but if properly set up on a dyno then they are ok

I've made 6bhp more than I had when I went on the Dyno twice (both times after mods - 13 total now) with my bike! enough said :) get in on the Dyno!

and for the educated amongst us, it was 6.Xbhp each time - making close to 13 haha..

Well I have gone for the pull type as I changed the gear change around, set the kill time to 60 m sec and I have a friend with a 2012 R1 with a HM quickshifter and I cant tell any difference, works perfect TBH, very smooth change even at 3k rpm very easy to setup and fit, ( but small hands will help ) getting the coil plug is a nightmare lol,

But you do need the ignition module to use the dyno jet quickshifter!!!!!
    Will post some pics soon

Defo get it on a dyno mate, only way to know for sure you have it all set right.

I built 2 motors this year, both same spec and both for same bike and the maps are different.

    £250 sounds a bit steep though:eek:
