It's also going to be sunny and dry so I'm going to wrap up and go for a tootle. Anyone in care to join me or meet for a cuppa ? And if you didn't know I'm the south east near gatwick.
I was tempted to head out - but the amount of grit / road salt is really worrying - just don't trust roads at the moment
Well i ventured out and am now back home, not due to salt or bad roads or the cold ...................... but because my sodding back brake locked on, left my emergency tool kit in the shed managed to prise the pad off with a 10mm spanner i found in the rear. ALWAYS TAKE YOUR TOOL KIT.
Three mates Jimbo and I are just ticking into a munch in Rye, seemed like a good idea this morning. We have seen snow coming down
Just got in from a good walk with my better half. Gutted to find it was only 4 and a half miles. WTF! It was knackering. My excuse is its Devon so most of it is vertical. Sniped a skylark with a 700 mm lens. Not easy but in fairness it's not a great shot either, but, it's in focus and in the middle of the frame. Try it if you're not a little impressed. Loads of wildlife out there enjoying terrific sunshine. Even got a couple of shots of golfers in their natural environment. Incredible! Their garish plumage, raucous, chinless laughs and spotless 4x4's all immaculate in the spring sun. People say they should be hunted down and wiped out but I say live and let live and an annual cull should be sufficient. Anyway, bought 6 bottles of Sauvignon Blanc and two fecking great bars of chocolate in the village store on the way back, so happy Easter.
indeed I have never seen so much salt on roads before? feels like beach riding, need to get some MX tyres fitted lol
