When I got the Blade out and set off, within ten minutes hailstones and snow !!! Still I didn't let it deter me and pressed on till I got to here As you can probably make out, up high on the moor top along a green lane with snow clouds heading my way... I must be crazy! I discovered that cold tyres on a wet cold road and 4k rpm in 3rd gear gives an interesting spin on the rear wheel, luckily in a straight line. Took things rather careful after that.
Same story down South, roads must have been salted on Saturday night. No snow but some f****** huge hailstones
Tom I think it's because the temperature was akin to your living room in winter You are mental, mind. I didn't even want to get the bike out of the garage to wash it because it kept going sunny / rain / sunny / hailstones / sunny / rain all day. Even yesterday was weird. Our lass and I set out for a walk in the afternoon and it was freezing when we set off. Gloves and hats. Half way round the sun came out and we were peeling off the layers.
