I, like I usually do have started to look at changing again. I think at the most I will keep this bike another year but I dont know what to get next.some I have been thinking of are ducati 1198, mv f4 1078 or f3 800, R1 (09 on) or if I wait a bit longer a panigale. dont know what to go for I just know the itch is there. is it just me or does anyone else get bored to quick with some bikes?
Time has come for me....just fancy a change, looking for right bike to come up but will probably be January when dealers are feeling the pinch had the Blade 5 years so time to move on.Im not so much bored with the bike just wanna av a change so many good bikes out there!
Anybody know how to go about getting a job as a test rider for some mag or something? New bike to test every month or less would work for me!
well sorry I do mean less getting bored and more opening the garage and thinking meh, just seeing all these latest models running about and now I really want a change.heard the new f3 the other day and the sound from it was amazing, enough to make me ignore the lack of power lol im with you on the mag tester thing, mind you I met sonic from superbike mag back in the day at the nw200, not the mad party animal they all make out and also some bike testers were out at the UGP doing a photo shoot, they were going round corners at 50 hanging off as if they were doing 150...all for a good pic I suppose.
know what you mean fella .im only good for a year 18 months and i get the itch been looking at a new blade but for some reason the insurance is stupid for me this year so might have to wait another year
So many pretty women walking around these days, I particually like the blondes with the thin waist's and massive t*t's....... I'm also itching for a change, but not sure if my missus will allow it Go test ride each bike, you'll be surprised about the F3's power, it's not like we can use the full potential of a bike on the streets anymore
i think if they started it i would have been in trouble and signed on the line there and then! how would that hold up being used every day? or do you not have to worry bout that mate?
well a good friend of mine is a ducati/mv mechanic (and owns both) and he said that any of the electrical problems the other models got were easily(cheaply) fixed and that the only other thing that needs looked after is the rear hub bearing.I asked him first as he always has one or two around the shop.I think the only issue I have seen so far is people not used to the detached feeling from the fly by wire throttle response at low revs.In a mcn test they said it and the 848 had problems with gear misses going into fourth, this does indeed happen if you dont push the gear lever hard enough (a lower lever angle fixes it) so I wont worry too much about that but anyway it will be next year before I even start looking and there there will be a lot of test riding to do.
problem is the MV would be a buy with no test ride as we have no dealers here. unless I can blag a run on one. but I could listen to this thing all day
Must be a northern ireland thing....in the last 18 mnths ive had... 2001 gsxr 600 2004 cbr 600 repsol rep 2006 r6 raven 2006 gsxr tyco 2006 gsxr And finally.... 2004 blade Itchy feet wouldnt be in it lol
