Well I thought I ought to say thanks to everyone for the advice, info and laughs. I have done a deal on something that will help my wrists, back and pillion (current wife) I have decided to trade the blade for a Speed triple- yes I've said it - Speed triple .I will miss the blade but the time has come to have more fun under a ton. I will keep checking the forum and hopefully keep contributing?
Please see the link below for my blade that the very nice people at Webbs in Eye are selling, please pass it on to anyone you know who wants a mint blade. I hope I am still welcome on the forum having owned 3 blades now and not ruling another out once I get bored!)

HONDA CBR for sale in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

    Thanks everyone

Nothing wrong with a speed triple, my last bike was a 2008 Speed triple in blazing orange, great engine, but I have foudn that having both bikes for over 2 years the blade is more comfy. I have no issues with my wrist unless i'm doing 400 miles for 5-6 days.

the speed triple was ok on the motorway for about 20 mins above 70. then it did not get fun

Enjoy the bike. you will love the sound of it

Simply fitting a comfort seat and Gillies Riser bars would have solved your issues Mr B

Mines 'comfy as' with the above mods

Hi AA, have a chat with Ryan or Darren at Webbs ,both nice guys and I'm sure a trade in on a nearly new Street would be favorable? Cheers
