So, apart from getting the tail an inch or two higher is there any real benefit to these? Lust Racing Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SC59 Jack Up Kit Suspension Links | eBay
I think that's it mate .. Lowering kits for short arses and jack up kits for lanky dudes I guess a jack up kit would give the bike a more aggressive ride position but you could probably achieve better results lowering the triple clamps on the forks
a lot of short circuit guys use them over here, meant to make the bike turn slightly faster but im sure the downside is handles worse on the fast straights
I used a Lust lowering kit on my R6 to calm it down a little; the standard seat height is 850mm so I dropped it to 820mm. I can't imagine why a newish blade would need the rear jacking up; going to a 55 rear tyre a maybe raising the fork a few mm would have a lot of turn in affect it thats what you are looking at.
I played lots with geom on my rr7 then was told they like to run flat geom and changes can lead to washing the front, I fitted a good few kits for other but hate the way they ride, cant see how or why you would want to change it so drastically with these kits when small changes make such a big different to the feel etc, I understand the need to get feet down but at a major cost imo. I fitted one to my 06 Z1000 and it looked cool as did 30 miles at most and took it off top end was dangerouse to say the least!!
