Hi, new here and normally a budding fireblade enthusiast, not today...today I,m the idiot who in haste jumped my bike with the leads the wrong way round...ashamed to say the least but accepting the inevitable now..
Battery was just turning over but not enough to start..so jumped it( wrong way round),and now no lights,no noise nothing,,,dead..
Any help or serious advice would be really..really appreciated?

What year is your bike? Most fuses are under the seat near the battery. I'm guessing you would have blown the main fuse which on a 12 blade is just above the battery.

You have some fuses behind the pannel but if same as my 05 you will have a main one tucked behind the battery (up towards the tail)

Main fuse should be about 30 amp and usually blade type which are see through. You should be able to see if fuse wire is blown between the blades of the fuse.

Thx Bryan,so that fuse is not a blade fuse,ie: continental,it's the box type, the bigger sort?

    Sonic,
Positive cable from battery goes to starter solenoid (black box) mounted on the black box should be a 30 amp fuse.

    Hope this helps

    Don't Panic just yet!

Fuses are there to protect and save any damage to systems

Check every fuse on the bike and double check condition of battery!
