So happy I passed my test now. Done my CBT end of Jan 14, put in for theory n test. Done and passed that last Thursday, 13th Feb in cubicle 13 also. The one day Mod 1 & Mod 2 training on Sunday then Mod 1 & Mod 2 test yesterday in the pouring rain !!! All was so much harder than I thought it would Of been. Went out last night for the first time on the blade, new front tyre, cold & wet, also dark and rush hour !! Wasn't the dream first ride out but was worth it Though !!
Summer starts March 1st .... Sun Sun Sun ...... December 24th Snow, Bit wet ... March1st ... Sun.... you get the picture, its always like that on a Blade. Good Luck Mike.
Yep enjoy and take it easy, things happen that bit quicker than what you've been used to. It's going to be a long wait till you can get out in the good weather!
Congratulations!! Most people would opt for a smaller bike to get their teeth into.Just take it easy on that blade and get some mileage with it.I passed mine just over 3yrs ago and its not as easy as people think.Especially that bloody speed trap.I've done nearly 11k miles on mine now and I'm still learning.Mileage will give you confidence.Enjoy
Congratulations, great feeling, passed at 56 me, old tw@t I know, just make it go as fast as you feel safe and take care.
Congrats and enjoy your blade. I passed my test 18 years ago and my first bike was a GSXR750. After a CG125 it was a steep learning curve
Congratulations on passing your test. The blade is easy to ride but hard to ride well. Personally I've known plenty of people who pass their test and jump on a big bike straight away with no problems. But to a man they all say the same thing a couple of years later. That they would have learned more, a lot more quickly, had they chosen a smaller bike to gain experience on. I tend to agree. Take it easy, go your own pace and enjoy!
